These are your landscapes, where you feel an emotional connection and are drawn to them for the energy that they hold.
With this Commissioned Art package, it is my absolute honour to connect you with your landscape, first in energy, and then physically with an original painting, that you can treasure and savour forever.
I will do this by connecting with you, and asking you to describe your landscape, in emotions, as well as how you physically see it. I will then work with images that you send me, or if possible by visiting the location myself, to tune into its energy. Together we will decide on the time of day, the season, the colours and the light in the landscape, until an image is formed in my mind’s eye, from which I will start creating the painting.
What’s included in this bespoke Commissioned Art Package:
- a 30 minute consultation
- an original canvas painting
- digital pictures of the process, from start to finish
- an inspired accompanying written message presented in a handwritten card
- Free Shipping of your painting, wherever you are in the world
You will receive your very own, unique painting, that will never be replicated with prints. Your favourite landscape will be manifested on canvas, to bring your comfort, joy and happy memories for you to return to over and over again.
The canvas dimensions included in this package are 50 x 75 cm, which can be painted portrait or landscape orientation. The canvas edges will be painted. The canvas will be sent unframed. A frame is not necessary, but you may wish to frame it once you receive your painting.
Other canvas sizes can be provided and other budgets can be catered for.
WHO IS LISA?
My name is Lisa McDonald. I am a full-time practicing artist with 14 years experience of delivering workshops in painting, creativity, mindfulness and mediation.
Self employed since 2009, I have never been happier.
After university a corporate path in IT Project Management was forged – driven by money and status – but it wasn’t ‘me’.
By 2009, what had initially been a hobby and something partaken part-time became a full-blown passion and an unstoppable desire to create. The creative dream had been born and was something I had to pursue, no matter what.
Originally from West Sussex in the south of England, I followed that creative dream to the stunning, rugged and wild far north of Scotland, and eventually to a beautiful 200 year old house on the cliffs in Caithness called Haven House, which is where I now live and work.
Being surrounded by rugged nature, in all seasons, it’s not difficult to find inspiration. Having always painted intuitively, I rely on my ability to tune into the energy of a place, and how it feels, as well as to depict and capture how it looks as well. I love letting go, and allow all of the emotions of a place to show up on the canvas. It is my delight to translate some some of your emotions and memories to life in these landscape paintings, and to gift you with something very special, and lasting that you can pass down to subsequent generations, for years to come.
