Painting Experience Voucher

It is my joy to bring you into my studio and gift you with time in my creative space, overlooking the sea in the tranquil setting of Haven House, on the outskirts of Wick. Having painted from a young age, been taught by Grandma, studied at college and now painting professionally since 2009, it is my delight to be able to give you the joy of painting and creativity.

A one to one lesson will give you the techniques of acrylic painting. You will learn:

• How to colour mix.
• How to apply  paint to canvas.
• Different brushstrokes for creating different textures.
• How to create depth within a painting and make your painting look more 3D.
• Compositional tips that enable a more pleasing painting.
• How different acrylic mediums can enhance your painting.
• How to develop your own style.
• How to protect and finish your art work.

.All materials are included. Feel free to bring your own materials if you have them. Please bring reference photographs of landscapes, seascapes or favourite places. Portraits and animal pictures are not suitable.

Physical painting lessons take place at Haven House Art, 26 Broadhaven Road, Wick, Caithness, KW1 4RF.
