A New Platform of Art and Inspiration
We are in the full bloom of Spring here in the far north of Scotland, and almost into my favourite season of Summer. The days are endless, the air is (a little!) warmer, the puffins have returned and the orcas are gracing our shores.The next few months are very busy for me. I will return soon with another email with details of a solo exhibition, plus other updates, but for now allow me to introduce my Patreon platform to you.For those not aware of it, Patreon is a platform where creators can truly connect with their followers. It comes with different levels of membership that enable you access to a variety of benefits.It enables you to receive regular updates from me, such as behind the scenes footage, new work in progress, plus you can accompany me on inspiration gathering visits across the Scottish Highlands. The reason that I have set up a Patreon account is because many of you have told me that you do not use social media, but you would still like to receive updates. I also have a desire to share more of my work and inspiration with you, but I am forever fighting a losing battle with Instagram and Facebook to be seen and heard above the noise. Plus, this platform will enable me to combine all of the different elements of what I do – the acrylics, the coaching, the teaching, the oil paintings and the healing into one place.There may even be some singing! I have a long held desire to put my art to music, and I love to sing.
