Reflections

This week’s blog post is a poem and a painting.

The painting is going to an exhibition at St Mary’s Church, Shoreham-By-Sea (my birth town) for the Adur Festival.

It will be in the church from Saturday 30th May to Sunday 14th June. If you are in the area do please visit. The church is an amazing building in itself and makes a spectacular venue for an art exhibition. I like to keep my foot in the door in Sussex, afterall, it is where it all started!

This painting started as a poem which I wrote. The theme for the church exhibition is ‘Reflections’. The poem literally fell out of me in five minutes but the painting took a little longer! The painting is for sale. Please let me know if you would like to reserve it. Enjoy..

As in the clouds

As in the sea

As in the meadow field

Reflected in every stroke
